Hospital Grade Technology
As part of our eye examination, patients are screened with an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine. This state of the art hospital grade technology enables the Optometrist to assess every single layer at the back of your eye. Working similarly to an ultrasound scanner, the OCT uses light waves to produce high quality scans to allow our specialists to help detect ocular conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes and vitreous detachments.
