After gaining years of nationwide experience within the optical sector, Ahsan and Samiul formed a partnership in 2022 set with the intention of opening a world-class optical facility to serve the community of Sudbury.

After many months of searching to find the ideal site, the pair came across 20 Market Hill. The site which sits directly beside the St. Peters Church was seen as an ideal location by the pair due its central location and historical relevance.

The owners worked very closely with a specialist commercial interior design company to make sure we captured the essence of Sudbury in every aspect of the design. A suitable blend of contemporary and vintage was achieved to ensure that patients enter a warming environment that feels reassuring and professional.

Ahsan studied Optometry at City University London and qualified in 2014 obtaining a Bachelor of Sciences degree. He has worked in Opticians for over twelve years.

Ahsan has professional accreditations in the field of glaucoma obtained at Bradford University. He is currently completing a Diploma that will allow him to prescribe ocular medication to his patients - at Aston University, Birmingham.

Away from the practice, he works within the hospital care setting, managing patients with various ocular disease

Samiul has been in the industry for over 10 years, rising through the industry and has worked in a multiple number of practices and care settings, giving him and in turn his patients the very best eye care possible. He has managed myopia control in children with great success, and is accredited to provide various additional services such as emergency eye care, post cataract procedures and glaucoma referral refinement.

Sam enjoys staying fit and healthy, so is a regular visitor to the gym. He takes great interest in fashion. Sam is known for his efficiency, tailored advice, and calming demeanour towards his patients.
